The Lady Eagles from Williams Baptist College have added Whitney Aitkens to their inaugural signing class.  Aitkens will graduate from Westside High School in May before joining WBC in the fall.

The defender inked in front of her high school coach, teammates, family, and WBC head coach Shane Stolz.  She will be a part of history in the fall when Williams fields its first ever women's soccer team.

Aitkens has won numerous awards and has competed in three different sports at Westside.  On the soccer field, she has been voted best defense at the "Got Game" awards, Best Under The Sun, All-Conference, and a three year captain.  Other awards include state championships in both bowling and dance.

Aitkens resides in Weiner, Ark.  She is the daughter of Ann Montgomery of Weiner and Michael Aitkens of Newport, Ark.

Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge. The Eagles compete in the American Midwest Conference of the NAIA.
