JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - In addition to battling fires, Jonesboro firefighters battled each other for a good cause Saturday afternoon.
Four teams competed in a fire truck pull on Main Street in downtown Jonesboro from 3-6 p.m.
Proceeds from the event go towards the Miracle League of Jonesboro.
"We're trying to get them enough money to make this playground, this baseball field so that all the disabled children will have a place to come out and play, and not only kids, but adults too that have wheelchairs or walkers or anything like that. It would be a safe place for everyone to come out and enjoy themselves," said Jonesboro Fire Department Division Chief Marty Hamrick.
The winning team, Team Big Fish, pulled the truck 50 feet.
