Driver seriously hurt when van hits storm shelter

A woman was hospitalized Sunday afternoon when her van ran off the road and slammed into a tornado shelter.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 3:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 61 near Kewanee in New Madrid County.
