WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Those east winds really brought a change overnight, we're 15
degrees warmer this morning than we were yesterday morning! And it just heats
up from there.
Highs today soar into the low 80s, and we'll have a slight chance
of a shower focused in Palm Beach County, lower chances for the Treasure Coast.
Skirt Alert remains in effect the next two days due to very breezy conditions
from the east.
How about near record highs this weekend? That's just what you'll get. It's
likely we will break our record high low temperatures (basically we're just
staying incredibly warm at night) and the afternoons shoot up into the low to
mid 80s, several degrees above average for this time of the year. There is a
slight chance of showers through the weekend but no wash-outs expected.
So what about Christmas? Get ready for a Florida-style cold front! Looks like a
weak front will move through on Christmas Eve, dropping dewpoints into a
bearable range for Christmas and temperatures that are closer to average—in the
mid 70s for highs and the upper 50s for lows.
