Brad Keselowski is wasting no time silencing the critics' claims that his 2012 Cup Series Championship was a fluke. The young driver has quickly moved into the point-standing lead after the first four races in 2013.

Keselowski leads fan favorite Dale Earnhardt Jr. by 9 points as the Series moves to the West Coast this weekend for the running of the Auto Club 400 in Fontana, CA.

Fontana has not been one of Keselowski's best tracks but the Penske Racing driver made a habit of turning bad tracks into wins last season and looks to be on the same track in 2013.

"Obviously, we're off to my best start ever," observed Keselowski on his fast 2013 start. "That's really cool. I'm happy for my team and all that stuff."

Keselowski is the only driver to finish in the top 5 in each of the first four races this season. If he can manage to duplicate that feat this week in Fontana, he will tie former champion Rusty Wallace, who set that mark in 1998. Ironically, Wallace was also driving the No. 2 Miller Ford - just like Keselowski.

"We can't keep our feet still," continued Keselowski on his drive for another championship. "We have to keep digging and push on our stuff, too. I think we got a pretty good feel on the 2 team."

Brad's best finish at Fontana was 18th in last year's race and he knows that he has to keep the intensity going. After all, there are 42 other drivers out there that want nothing more than to prevent him from winning a second title.

"We know that Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson are going to continue to make their cars better, observed Keselowski of his competition.

If Keselowski is to continue this hot start, he will need dedication and confidence and this young driver is not lacking in either of those categories. We'll find out how he does on Sunday.
