JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A multi-million dollar gun legislation advertising campaign is set to launch in Arkansas and several other states soon.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's Mayors Against Illegal Guns is funding the $12 million media blitz, urging constituents to appeal to their state legislators concerning support for Second Amendment rights and background checks for potential gun owners.

Arkansas Senator Mark Pryor is reportedly one of the senators in 13 states where the ads will run.
