Traffic reopened after semi hits bridge

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Traffic reopens after a semi-truck runs into a bridge.

According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, a semi-truck was carrying too tall of a load and hit a bridge near the Highway 67/63 interchanges near Hoxie.

Lawrence County Sheriff Jody Dotson tells Region 8 News, that no one was injured in the accident.

The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department tells Region 8 News that Highway 67/63 has been reopened for traffic.

The bridge has been deemed safe by transportation officials.
