CRITTENDEN COUNTY, AR -

(WMC-TV) – A warrant is in the works in Crittenden County, Arkansas now that the last woman Scott Ferguson married signed a complaint earlier this week.

Miguelina Mora of Cordova was married to Oakland Mayor Scott Ferguson on Valentine's Day in West Memphis.

Court documents show Ferguson has two wives; Mora and the mother of his four children who he married in Tennessee.

People in Oakland said their former mayor moved there from Jonesboro. He is living with his father who is a Church of Christ Pastor.

Scott Ferguson was a pastor as well. When Action News 5's Janice Broach knocked on the door of Ferguson's home, it was clear someone was inside but no one answered the door.

She wanted to ask Ferguson about the warrant a Crittenden County Judge has on his desk for Ferguson's arrest for bigamy.

Ferguson resigned in March as Oakland's mayor. He didn't mention his two wives when Action News 5 talked with him by phone about his resignation.

"I decided to resign because I have not been true to my wife and I have neglected my family," Ferguson said. "I feel based on my convictions I've turned my back on my faith."

Neighbors in Oakland said they don't know Ferguson but they are still shocked.

"That's very shocking because I grew up in the Church of Christ," said one of Ferguson's neighbors. "No you don't expect that."

Because Friday is a holiday, Crittenden County investigators expect to get the signed warrant for Scott Ferguson's arrest next week.

If convicted of Bigamy, Ferguson could end up serving time in prison.
