JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Police were called out to a business on Thursday in reference to theft.

According to JPD, the owner of the Camptown RV & Marine advised that at some point between five in the afternoon Wednesday, to eight Thursday morning the business had been burglarized.

Police say that someone entered the lot by clipping the bottom support wire on a post and lifted the bottom of the fence to gain entry. They said the suspect stole four different motors from boats waiting to be worked on.

The owner of the business had not yet contacted the owner of the boats burglarized by the time the report was filed. Police advised the owner to tell his customers to contact CID to provide further information in reference to their motors.

One of the motors had a serial number that was logged into the ACIC/NCIC system as missing.

The suspect has not been identified.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crimestoppers at 935-STOP.
