East Texas company plans expansion, adding 200 jobs

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Distant Lands Coffee is planning to announce 200 new jobs, as the company expands in marketing and manufacturing. This will triple their workforce. Currently, the company employs 100 people in Tyler. 

Tom Mullins, president/CEO of the Tyler Economic Development Council, said Distant Lands is working on securing a new space in North East Tyler. The company is still in talks, and the proposal will go before the City Council on April 10.
