Earthquake rattles people in southeast, Missouri

CARUTHERSVILLE, MO (KFVS) -

For the second time in less than a week an earthquake has rattled people in the Bootheel of southeast Missouri.

The 2.7 quake happened around 7:30p.m. Thursday night.

According to the USGS Website the quake's epicenter was about 4 miles Northeast of Caruthersville, Missouri and about 18 miles Northwest of Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Right now there are no reports of any injuries or damage.

Late Tuesday night a 2.7 earthquake rattled people near Portageville.

No one was hurt in that quake either.
