The duo of Karisa Hendrix and Shelby Anderson from Williams Baptist College has once again swept the honors of American Midwest Conference Pitcher and Player of the Week.

Williams, ranked 5th in the NAIA, had another great week on the diamond winning all six of its contests and outscoring opponents 81-6.  With the victories the Lady Eagles are 30-2 on the season and enter a busy week of conference games.

On the mound Hendrix posted four wins, going a total of 19 innings and giving up just three earned runs.  The Cherokee Village, Ark., native logged 10 strikeouts against Mid-Continent and added another 10 in a win over Lyon College.  She held the Scots to just one hit in the contest.  She finished out the week with back-to-back victories over Hannibal-LaGrange University, allowing just three hits and fanning 11 batters in a combined 10 innings of work.

At the plate Anderson led the offensive attack for the Eagles, hitting 0.647 in six games.  The sophomore was 11-for-17 from the plate and added six runs to the effort.  The slugger boasted a 1.235 slugging percentage as she pounded four doubles and two homeruns to log 13 RBI on the week.  Her first homerun of the week set a new single-season school record.  On the defensive side, Anderson pitched a seven inning no-hitter against Mid-Continent.
