Two men arrested for rape, sexual assault in separate cases

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) – Paragould Police have arrested two men for rape and sexual assault on young children.

PPD tells Region 8 News that Barry Crow was arrested on suspicion of three counts of rape and one count of incest.

According to a probable cause affidavit, a tip was sent in to the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline that Crow had been having sexual intercourse with an underage girl, who was also a relative, for the past four years.

He's in the Greene County jail on a $1,000,000 bond.

In an unrelated case, PPD arrested 56-year-old James Michael Taylor.

The Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline reportedly received a tip that a 10-year0old girl said that Taylor inappropriately touched her on two separate occasions.

Taylor faces two counts of second-degree assault. He was taken to the Greene County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
