This Month Shaping Up to Be Among Coolest Augusts on Record in Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK, AR - This August has been one of the coolest Augusts on record so far.  The average temperature for the first 16 days of August was only 75.6 degrees.  But a high-pressure system headed toward Arkansas is expected to bring changes with higher temperatures and more humidity.  Overall, the summer is among the top ten coolest summers on record in Arkansas, coming in at number 8.
