Man in jail after police find guns, homemade bomb during search

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) – A Blytheville man is in jail after police find several firearms and a homemade bomb inside a home.

According to the Blytheville Police Department, officers found the items during a search of a home on West Walnut Wednesday night.

The bomb was safely disposed of by the Shelby County Sheriff's Department Bomb Squad.

Police tried to arrest James Lowe, Jr. during that search but they say he ran off in a black Chevy Silverado.

Police say Lowe turned himself in sometime Thursday.
