JONESBORO, Ark. (AStateRedWolves.com) - In conjunction with rebranding efforts already including a name change and adjustments to its infrastructure, the primary development arm of Arkansas State Athletics now known as the Red Wolves Foundation unveiled a new logo Wednesday intended to help redefine the organization and its future goals.
Working alongside athletics department administrators, Director of Publications and Creative Services Mark Reeves and his team designed the logo that features the highly-recognizable Red Wolf mark inside the state of Arkansas while completing the first-class look with a bold red line separating Red Wolves Foundation and Arkansas State University text to the right of the artwork.
"There was a lot of thought and careful consultation that went into the design of this logo, and we are excited about the way it represents the Red Wolves Foundation and its members," said Associate Athletics Director Carter Ford, who was recently appointed Executive Director of the Red Wolves Foundation. "We wanted a logo that captured our drive to make the Foundation more recognizable on both a state-wide and national level, and I think Mark and his team helped us achieve just that."
The logo is one of several sweeping changes taking place during a transitional period with the Red Wolves Foundation, formerly known as both the Red Wolf Club and Indian Club.
As part of the new logo and branding efforts, the 501 (c)(3) organization is in the process of building a new Web site that will be available at www.RedWolvesFoundation.com once construction is complete. It is being designed as a mobile-friendly and dynamic site to help better serve Arkansas State Athletics supporters.
The Red Wolves Foundation will also be sending its members regular e-newsletter updates to keep them "in-the-know" with everything A-State Athletics related. Additionally, new Red Wolves Foundation collateral will be mailed in the near future to all members and will include updated and fresh information on season tickets, parking and tailgating.
All Red Wolves Foundation members will also soon be receiving a letter from a staff member assigned as their account manager. A donor's account manager will be be their point-person to assist with any and all season ticket, parking and tailgating needs, along with other inquiries.
"Arkansas State University is an institution with alumni, supporters and fans all across the state of Arkansas and the nation," said Rick Gillette, President of the Red Wolves Foundation Board. "These are just some of the first steps the Foundation is taking in the process to make our donor experiences as seamless and enjoyable as possible. We want to provide top-quality customer service to every one of our members, and we are working to make sure this resonates in everything we do."
"We are proud to represent our state, and we need the full support from individuals residing in all areas to move our program forward," Ford said. "Investing in the Red Wolves Foundation is not only a commitment to the overall success of Arkansas State University, but also to the state of Arkansas. These investments give our student-athletes, many of whom are from Arkansas and will remain in the state, a first-class educational experience at Arkansas State while also allowing us to build and support the overall success of our program."
