STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

A Stoddard County woman will serve the next 20 years in prison on murder charges.

Angela McCoy of Bernie pleaded guilty to murder charges in court on Wednesday in Stoddard County. She was sentenced to serve 20 years behind bars.

Court papers show McCoy pleaded guilty to class A felony of murder in the second degree, which carries a range of punishment of 10 years to life.

She will be ineligible for parole until she has served 85-percent of her sentence.
