PETA activist Brandi Valladolid plans to be "crouched in a cage, wearing nothing but shackles" Tuesday at noon on the lawn of the Craighead County Courthouse.  Valladolid claims Ringling Brothers mistreats its circus animals.  Circus performances by Ringling Brothers are set for August 27-29 at the ASU Convocation Center.

Michael Davidson says he'll offer a counter-demonstration across the street, where he plans to give away hamburgers and barbeque.  Davidson so despises PETA that he runs his own website,  The 25-year-old Arkansas State University student says he'll be happy to take on the help of any volunteers who have similar opinions of PETA.  "I could really use some help with this thing," said Davidson.  "People who want to help can call me at 926-5098, or e-mail me at
