S.O.S Winners Announced

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – The winners of the second annual "Stamp Out Smoking" contest are in!

Senior Colton Brown of Nettleton High School entered the "Stamp Out Smoking" contest and won!

The bulletin board portion of the contest encourages students to come up with their own billboard design around an aspect of smoking.

"It's a great program to get into.  It's a great contest for a good cause and it's definitely something you need to get into if you didn't do it." Colton said after winner the competition.

He says he's learned a lot while participating in the competition. "I actually research a lot of facts about smoking and how it hurts and everything.  So, I learned a lot about what it can do to your body and how it can hurt you."

The winner of the elementary division was 3rd grader Olivia Farish of Brookland Elementary.

The contest is sponsored by St. Bernards.
