Kentucky starter Corey Littrell suffered the loss and is 4-3 on the year.  He allowed three runs on five hits in 7.2 innings with five walks and three strikeouts.

Dantzler's two-run homer in the bottom of the fourth went an estimated 410 feet.

South Carolina next takes on  Gardner-Webb Tuesday night at Keeter Stadium in Shelby, N.C.
