WBC softball moves up to 4th in NAIA poll

Walnut Ridge, Ark. (WBCEagles.com) – The Williams Baptist College softball team continues to move up in the NAIA national rankings.  They check-in at the four spot in the latest poll, which was released on Tuesday afternoon.   This is the highest ranking in Williams softball history.

Williams will travel to Paragould, Ark., on Thursday, April 25, for its regular season finale against Crowley's Ridge College.  The doubleheader will begin at 3 p.m.

WBC has clinched its fourth consecutive regular season AMC championship and will be the top seed in the conference tournament.  The tournament will begin on Friday with a doubleheader and will conclude on Saturday, if necessary.

First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m., and will be against Harris-Stowe State University.  The best of three series will be played in Walnut Ridge at the Lady Eagles softball field.
