The Lee County Trojans clinched a state playoff spot Tuesday night, and were hoping to build some momentum Wednesday, hosting Lowndes on Senior Night.
Both teams' offenses brought their bats to play, with the Vikings leading 7-4 after just three innings.
In the bottom of the 4th, Andrew Stroud helped the Trojans cut into the lead with a two-run homer into left center.
But the Trojans weren't able to make it all way back, falling 8-7.
Lee closes out their regular season Friday at Colquitt Co.
