BAXTER CO, AR (KAIT) – A Baxter Countyman is in jail after authorities found a stolen gun in his home.
According to the Baxter County Sheriff'sOffice, deputies and Mountain Home police searched 35 year-old Terry Palmere'shouse on Shore Crest Drive in Mountain Home.
During the search, police say theyfound a handgun that had been reported stolen on April 24th from ahouse on Foster Street.
Palmere was named as a suspect in thetheft. Police say they also received a tip indicating the gun was at his home.
According to a press release from the Baxter CountySheriff's office, he's been convicted of previous felony crimes and is bannedfrom having a firearm.
He's in the Baxter County Jail on charges of residentialburglary, property theft and possession of a firearm by a felon.
He's bond was set at $50,000. He'll appear in court onMay 5th.
