Quarterback Kyle Snyder threw a strike to receiver Garett Schaefer for a five yard touchdown in the final seconds, giving the Southeast Missouri State University offense a 16-13 win over the defense in the team's spring game.
The touchdown came on a two minute drive and was the last play of the game. For much of the contest, the defense had the lead.
Linebacker Andy McNeel led the defense with 11 tackles, also contributing a sack and two tackles for a loss.
The Redhawk defense held the offense to less than four yards per rush. The defense also only allowed a combined 66 yards through the air.
Kyle Snyder led the quarterbacks with 31 yards and a touchdown completing three of seven pass attempts.
The offense's first touchdown came from fullback Ron Coleman on a one yard run in the second quarter. DeMichael Jackson led the team in rushing with 57 yards on 11 carries.
With the completion of the spring game, Southeast's spring drills have come to an end.
