JONESBORO, AR - A Jonesboro businessman and downtown property owner was arrested by Jonesboro police this morning after he allegedly ran over and destroyed much of the city's new downtown skateboard park with a Bobcat utility vehicle.

Witnesses say Baugh, a board member of the Downtown Jonesboro Association, did the damage around 9:30 this morning after being at odds for several weeks with local skateboarding enthusiasts.

Baugh was arrested and charged with second degree criminal mischief, a felony, punishable by up to six years in prison or a $10,000 fine.  In a probable cause hearing this afternoon, Baugh was represented by Jonesboro attorney and State Representative Chris Thyer, although K8 News has learned that local attorney Paul Ford is also expected to represent the suspect in the future.
