BAXTER COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – A man is behind bars after a deputy found traces of Methamphetamine with him during a traffic stop.

Shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday, Deputy William Altlazan pulled over 31-year-old, Jeremy Darrell Coleman of Mountain Home for committing a traffic violation on Baxter County Road 28 near Jade Lane.

Deputy Altazan then began to search Coleman's vehicle and discovered a small amount of suspected Methamphetamine in a seat in the vehicle.

Altazan also suspected he found a used syringe and used glass pipe with some Meth residue. Tests then confirmed that it was Methamphetamine.

There were two others riding with Coleman but they were not arrested.

Coleman was arrested and taken to the Baxter County Detention Center where he faced felony charges on Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

He was released after he posted a $5,000 bond.

He is set to appear in court May 9.
