Grand Opening Festivities Happening Today at New Crowley's Ridge Nature Center

JONESBORO, AR - Governor Mike Huckabee was the keynote speaker this morning when the Forrest L. Wood Crowley's Ridge Nature Center kicked off its grand opening celebration with a dedication ceremony at 11:30 a.m.  At noon, exhibits were opened to the public and a light lunch was offered.

Arkansas native and blues legend John Wesson will perform this afternoon.   Crowley's Ridge, a multi-sensory movie production, will be shown at in the center's auditorium at various intervals throughout the afternoon.

Other activities and events related to the grand opening are planned for Thursday and Friday as well.
