Woman arrested for selling marijuana to person working with officers

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR (KAIT) – A Mountain Home woman was arrested after selling drugs to a person working with the Baxter County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office states Rose Ann Elam sold marijuana to the person on two occasions in August of 2011 and once again in June of 2012. Elam sold about 117 grams of marijuana for $760, according to the sheriff's office. The purchases were recorded and monitored by officers.

Elam was charged Monday with three felony counts of delivery of marijuana and a felony count of unlawful use of a communication device. She has posted a $3,500 bond and will appear in court on Thursday.
