Fire breaks out in bathroom, cause unknown

BROOKLAND, AR (KAIT) – Officials are investigating the cause of a fire that tore through part of a mobile home in Brookland.

The Brookland Fire Department was called out to a mobile home around 9 p.m.

They say the fire started in the bathroom of the home. No one was at home at the time of the fire and we're told there were no injuries.

Fire officials say the damage was contained in the bathroom.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
