Drug investigation uncovers children exposed to drugs, 4 arrested

CLEBURNE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Four people are behind bars accused of exposing a child to drugs.

Narcotics investigators from the Cleburne County Sheriff's Department teamed up with local law enforcement to execute search warrants at two homes in Heber Springs.

The first search was executed on Thursday, March 27, at an apartment on Park Street.

Officers arrested Chas Boyer and Danielle Alexander, both 21, on charges of exposing a child to meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, delivery of a controlled substance and furnishing prohibited articles.

They are being held in lieu of $50,000 bond each.

The second search was executed on Tuesday, April 9, at a mobile home on Spinks Lane.

There officers arrested Steven Kane, 34, and Angela Kane, 24, on charges of endangering the welfare of a minor, manufacturing a Schedule VI controlled substance (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, and also maintaining a drug premise within 1,000 feet of a daycare.

The Kanes' bond was set at $25,000 each.
