TRUMANN, AR (KAIT) – An early morning earthquake has been measured just south of Trumann.
According to a preliminary report by the Cooperative New Madrid Seismic Network, a quake with a magnitude of 2.8 was detected just after midnight Tuesday. It was located about four miles south-southwest of Truman.
It is estimated to be about 18 miles south-southeast of Jonesboro.
No damage was reported in the city according to the Trumann Police Department.
