MARKED TREE, AR (KAIT) – The 1039th Engineer Company of the Arkansas Army National Guard's 875th Engineer Battalion will arrive Wednesday at 12:45pm at the new Armed Force Reserve Center.
For Private First Class, Chad McCrary's family, they have prepared a welcome home celebration for his arrival.
"Just seeing his face, I just can't wait to see his face," said McCrary's Wife Candice McCrary. "I can't wait to see Masons face when he sees him."
Their two-year-old, Mason is excited for Dad to finally come home.
"He is very excited," said McCrary. "He walks around the house all days saying DA DA."
They put up several welcome home signs made from some of the Marked Tree Elementary students.
The signs line the fences of a ball park in Marked Tree for McCrary to see as he pulls into town.
"I've been working on getting this stuff together for the past month," said McCrary.
Although, they have been able to have some communication, McCrary said there are a few things she can't wait to do.
"Just being able to hold him, hug him and kiss him," said McCrary.
