GRAYS, AR - Four people drowned on the Cache River this weekend.  Searchers have found the bodies, two early this morning and two yesterday.

Arkansas State Police trooper Philip Hyrdon said it appears two couples were fishing and their boat capsized.  Hydron said alcohol is not suspected in the accident.

The victims were 45-year-old Bobby Joe Meredith and his 39-year-old wife, Angie Fay Meredith of McCrory and their daughter, 22-year-old Angela Cameron and her husband, 25-year-old Peter Cameron of Vandale.  The bodies of Angie Meredith and Angela Cameron were found shortly after 6 o'clock this morning.

Hyrdon said three of the bodies were found in the water just north of the Highway 260 bridge and the one body just south of the bridge.  The boat was found capsized about a half-mile north of the bridge.  Police used helicopters, divers and search dogs to find the family.

Officials say the river is about 16 feet deep and that only one of the four people in the boat knew how to swim, and none of them were wearing life jackets.
