PARAGOULD, AR - A Paragould soldier is home from Iraq on a two week leave to spend time with his family in Greene County before returning to Baghdad.
Twenty-year-old Army Specialist Josh Noel said he helps construct buildings to accomodate more soldiers at Camp Victory. He said that he has seen combat when convoys he has been on have been attacked.
Noel said the soldiers in Baghdad are positive and that they try to keep others' spirits high. He said coming home and seeing people with ribbons on their cars makes him proud to serve. Noel said everyone's support back home helps fuel the soldiers stationed in Iraq.
When he gets back from Iraq, Noel said he wants to earn a degree in exercise science and enter a physical therapy program.
