OSCEOLA, AR (KAIT) – SMC Regional Medical Center is sponsoring anevent to inform Northeast Arkansans about strokes.
"Strike Out Stroke Night"will be held at the Osceola Sports Complex at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28. Theevent provides free information and materials on how to detect the warningsigns and symptoms of a stroke.
SMC Regional MedicalCenter is one of 42 hospitals across the state participating in Arkansas StrokeAssistance through Virtual Emergency Support (AR SAVES).
AR SAVES is a stroketelemedicine program through a partnership with the University of Arkansas forMedical Sciences.
