LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT) - A Craighead County man faces five counts of distributing, possessing or viewing sexually explicit conduct with a child Tuesday.

Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel said in a statement that the Daniel Wayne Flood, 27, of Jonesboro was arrested Tuesday morning by the AG's Cyber Crimes Unit. Flood appeared in court Tuesday and his bond was set at $20,000.

The charges are a Class C felony. Agents with the unit executed a warrant at a home in Bay last week on child porn suspicion. That home belonged to one of Flood's relatives. Agents confiscated a laptop computer from the home.

A few days later detectives interviewed Flood at his apartment in Jonesboro. According to the news release, Flood admitted to investigators that he had downloaded child pornography images on the computer and on his own mobile phone. Both devices will be analyzed by the Cyber Crimes Unit Forensic Lab in Little Rock.
