Two juveniles arrested in Pocahontas drug bust

RANDOLPH COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Four people, including two juveniles, were arrested in a Pocahontas drug bust.

The Pocahontas Police Department and the Judicial Drug Task Force searched a home on 705 West Black Street in Pocahontas.

Two adults and two juveniles were arrested at the residence for multiple drug charges.

Michael James Prater was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and Jason Edward Redus was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

The juveniles' charges include delivery of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.  Police say they are expected to be charged as adults.  

They appeared in court on Monday for a bond hearing.
