8 ASU Baseball players named to Southland Conference All-Decade Team

JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - Eight former Arkansas State University baseball players have been named to the Southland Conference's All-Decade Team for the 1960s.

William Bourg, Bob Browning, Jim Callaway, George Glenn, Jim Mueller, Wayne Pitcock, Dana Ryan and Bob Webb are part of the team announced Wednesday as part of the SLC's 50th Anniversary commemoration.

The team includes a total of players from ASU, Abilene Christian, Trinity, Lamar and Texas-Arlington.

ASU left the SLC during the 1980s and currently competes in the Sun Belt Conference.
