PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - Paragould police have a person of interest in custody after witnesses say gun shots were fired Monday.
According to Paragould Police, they received a call around 4:30 p.m. in reference to a domestic disturbance on Fifth street.
While officers were on their way, they got another call about a gunshot being fired at the same residence. Officer Nate Herget found Ashley Galvan laying in the front yard, but not injured with gunshot wounds, when he arrived.
Several neighbors told Herget they'd heard a gunshot and saw a man, Trinie Galvan, run into the home. The neighbors then told police there were three children inside. They were found safe.
No one was injured by the gun shots, but Ashley Galvan was treated for an injury to her left eardrum.
According the arrest affidavit, Trinie Galvan is being charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a minor.
A cash only bond for Galvan was set at $500,000.
The Paragould Police Department is still investigating the incident.
