The Elks Club and Craighead County Veterans Honor Guard held a flag presentation the Mall at Turtle Creek Friday.

After shopping, Mall customers were able to get a glimpse of our flag history. They demonstrated how to fold the American Flag and explained what each folds means.

Carl Mosby is with the Veteran Honor Guard and he says everyone should be aware of what the flag really means.

"Respect our American Flag because it is a symbol of our inheritance and that's very important to all the veterans and even the non veterans", says Mosby.

Stephen Goad was a part of the event and he says there is a reason why the set up at the mall.

"People might walk through and see something and we just want to give people an appreciation for what our country has done for all of us, our veterans who have served to help keep these flags up throughout the years", says Goad.

They also gave educational presentations on the different flags throughout our country's history.
