JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -   The Jonesboro Police Department is still investigating a string of commercial burglaries that occurred Tuesday night.

The department said the burglaries occurred at Trim Gym, Harps and the NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital.

"About 5 o'clock, someone entered the Trim Gym and took some keys from a person. After they took the keys, they went out to the person's vehicle. And once they got into the person's vehicle they took some items," Sgt. Lyle Waterworth said.

Trim Gym employees said the suspect was not a member of the gym and he came in with a good story, saying he was looking for his wife.

"Then at about six at Harps, he went into Harps and took some information and some property from the people at the break room," Waterworth said.

Region 8 News tried contacting Harps, but the corporate office said it could not comment.

"Then at about 8-30, he's seen at the NEA Baptist Hospital on Stadium where he enters the pharmacy and takes some items," Waterworth said.

Police said the suspect also took several wallets and an iPhone 4 from lockers in a nurse's station.

NEA's CEO Brad Parsons said thefts at the hospital are not normal and the administration is working with the police to get who ever did this.

"This is a new M.O. we've seen. We haven't seen this M.O. yet. We do however have good video of the suspect," Waterworth said.

The department also said the man is driving a black Chevrolet, either Impala or Malibu.

"We're trying to locate it. We're trying to locate him. It takes a whole community to stop crime. If you know the person, feel free to call," Waterworth said.

If you have more information, please call Jonesboro police at (870) 935-5553 or CrimeStoppers at 935-STOP immediately.
