Entergy Arkansas plans outage in Powhatan area Tuesday morning

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Entergy Arkansas is alerting customers in the Powhatan area they will lose power Tuesday morning.

According to Entergy, they will need to de-energize the feeder circuit that goes to Powhatan from the Black Rock Bridge area, as the new bridge work continues.

Entergy says the outage should affect 100 people between 8am-10am in and around Powhatan.

Entergy is also calling customers with the following recording:

"Hello, this is a courtesy call from Entergy Arkansas, Incorporated, at 1-800-368-3749 to let you know it will be necessary to interrupt your service for about two hours beginning at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, weather permitting. Our crews need to make repairs to the circuit serving the Powhatan area and unfortunately we need to de-energize the circuit to do the work safely. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we thank you for being an Entergy customer."
