PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT)- A Paragould man was sentenced to 80 years behind bars after being arrested in 2012 on several child porn charges.

Jeffery W. Webb, 38, pleaded guilty to eight counts of distributing, possessing or viewing material with sexually explicit content involving a child, which is a Class C felony. Webb was sentenced 10 years in prison on each count.

Webb also pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault and was given 20 years on each of those counts.

Webb's arrest came after agents with the Attorney General's Cyber Crimes Unit searched Webb's home in Paragould in June 2012. Webb admitted to investigators that he had several images of child pornography on his laptop.

Webb is now being held in the Greene County Detention Center waiting to transfer to the Arkansas Department of Correction.
