CROSS COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Stolen items were recovered from the home of a man who was on parole in Cross County.
According to the Cross County Sheriff's Office, an officer with the sheriff's office was requested to help search the home of parolee Kevin Cecil on June 14.
A black case containing ammunition was found by officers. The ammunition inside the case was linked to a recent report of someone breaking into a vehicle where a rifle, a pistol and ammunition were taken.
Cecil was taken to the Cross County Jail where officers say he admitted to the theft. He also told officers who he sold the guns to.
Investigators recovered all of the items stolen and returned them to the owner.
Cecil was charged with theft of property, possession of firearms by certain persons, criminal trespassing and breaking or entering.
Bond was set at $2,000.
