NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police say they have found the person suspected of shooting a woman, as she sat beside her children in their East Nashville home, and the violence may have been motivated by a basketball fight.

The shooting occurred in the 2500 block of Trevecca Avenue on March 26.

Joshua Baker, 18, was taken into custody Monday in connection with the case.

Police said the incident stems from an argument the suspect had with the victim's son, on the neighborhood basketball court.

Baker now faces charges of attempted first-degree murder and reckless endangerment.
