Power outages experienced across Region 8

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – As severe thunderstorms rolled across northeast Arkansas overnight many have found themselves without power on Friday morning.

One of the hardest hit areas is that of Blytheville where, according to Entergy Arkansas Inc., over 2,200 people were without power. Other Mississippi County towns that experienced a significant outage including Armorel.

Areas of Clay County have been affected as well. In the towns of Datto and Reno nearly 200 people were in the dark.

Entergy's power outage map indicates crews have repaired most of the lines and most of the power is back on.
