JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)- NEA Extreme Sports sponsored their first sniper competition where teams around the state got a chance to show off their skills Saturday.
Sniper teams competed to see who has the best shot using an airsoft gun. Five stations were set up around a 25 acre course where shooters shot at targets at different levels and positions.
Squad Leader Jerry William says this event is all about the bragging rights. Williams says, "To be the best shot for airsoft standards would be patience, moving in a very stealthy way, making a precise shot with windage and being able to keep calm and hit a target at various distances."
Winners of the competition won thousands of dollars in prizes.
