Fun Day brings Bono families to the park

Jonesboro, AR (KAIT)- A lot of people enjoyed the great weather Saturday. Another fun event happened in Region 8. It was Fun Day in the Park in Bono.

The annual event at the Bono City Park started at 2:00 p.m. One of the event organizers invited the public to join in on the fun and several other activities that everyone in the family could enjoy.

Helen Dorris says, "We have a lot of kids' games, a lot of activities, a lot of door prizes and tonight we end with our fireworks display and also we have got vendors and Gospel singing, country music."

Bono police were also there doing fingerprinting and ID's for children.

Fun Day in the Park ended at 9:00 p.m. after the fireworks display.
