'Prison Fire' fully contained in Santa Catalinas near Tucson

TUCSON, AZ (CBS5) -

A lightning-caused fire on Mount Lemmon in the Santa Catalina Mountains just north of Tucson is fully contained.

The "Prison Fire" was reported one week ago by the lookout atop Mount Lemmon. At one point, it had burned about 240 acres.

Firefighters from the Santa Catalina District of the Coronado National Forest will continue to monitor the fire perimeter to make sure it is secure over the next week.

Stage Two fire restrictions remain in place banning the use of camp fires, welders, target shooting, and smoking until additional substantial moisture reduces the fire danger.

Use of pressurized liquid or gas stoves, lanterns and heaters possessing shut off devices are allowed but must be used in areas clear of grass and other fine fuels.
