Police search for man who spat in woman's eye after getting cut off

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Police search for a man after he spat in a woman's eye for cutting him off in a line at a Jonesboro business.

Jonesboro Police were called out to Andy's Frozen Custard on Highland shortly before 8:00 p.m. Sunday, in reference to an assault.

According to JPD, Micah Angel pulled around another vehicle that seemed stationary so she could order ice cream.

Police say there was a man in the stationery vehicle who got upset when Angel pulled around her. They say the man began screaming at Angel telling her she could not cut like that.

Angel then rolled up her windows and locked her doors as the man approached her. She says this did not stop the man as he came up to her car and spat through the sunroof and landing it in her eye.

Police say the man was driving an orange Volkswagen Beetle with tinted windows and black racing stripes.

JPD then looked up the man's address using his license plate.

Officers were unable to find the vehicle or anyone at the residence.
